Team Venezuela

The North Texas Strikers recently had the opportunity to watch the Venezuelan National Team practice here in Dallas.  After the practice, the players were gracious enough to take time out of their busy schedules to talk to the boys and sign autographs.

  Earlier this year, Coach Rey trained with Club Bolivar, the Bolivian Champions, for their participation in the Dallas Cup in the Super Group. The Bolivian team faced teams such as Barcelona (Spain), Arsenal (England), and Corinthians (Brasil).  Former ’93 North Texas Striker player Leonardo Taylor also trained in LaPaz to be part of the team in April.

Coach Rey will continue his relationship with Club Bolivar. Later this summer, he will be travelling with many of the players on his ’96 team to train at the Bolivian facility with Club Bolivar.
