Coach David Garfias is starting a competitive soccer team for U9 boys (birthdates Aug ’02
to Jul ’03). Practices are Mondays and Thursdays, from 6:30pm to 8:00 at the North Texas
Strikers Complex in Garland. Find directions to the complex here.
This is a competitive team with a two year program. The focus of this program is preparation for select soccer; development and instruction in a more competitive atmospher; participation in outdoor and indoor leagues; tournament play; advanced technique training; team tactics; weekly skills training; weekly team practice; and continued focus on the basics of soccer.
David Garfias is a Peruvian national with soocer training under a professional
team in his homeland. In the United States, he has coached children and adults
over 15 years, specializing in developing children’s teams. He is currently
licensed and the father of four.
